Hard mornings

Let's face it,  I don't write much on here because I'm not the best at grammar.  I write what is on my mind and rather it makes sense or not,  well I'm sorry,  I don't have any one to edit what I write.  My BFF has so much on her plate as it is, I hate to burden her with more stuff.

I'm writing today because today, as pretty much every day, I take my 10 year old to the bus stop, he does not want to do his routines.  Daddy takes him the first 2 days of school. He does what he is suppose to.  I've spanked him (my son) on the behind, I've taken toys away.  He said he wanted to go to Hastings this weekend.  (he must not be to worried about it or he would have gotten his routines done right?)  I don't know.  I wish I could talk to other parents who has children with ADHD.  My son I'm assuming chose to be defiant this morning.  He does this all the time.
WHAT would you do as a mom with a child with ADHD to get him  to get ready?  I have tried everything to get him to do right.  He just does not want to do for mommy.  Am I not "Mean" enough.  Should I be more assertive?  I guess I'm scared of hurting him.  Any advice would be great.

I'm still working on dishes. I have not felt that good lately. allergies I think. I have been having a handfull seems like for the last week. When I feel better maybe I can actually get them done. I have gotten the laundry pretty much done for the most part. I've been hanging them out on the line this week. Other then last night. It had rained. I got some clothes out and some bedding out on the line drying now. I got a load drying in the dryer from last night? I have a small amount in the washer at the moment. My lines are all full. Later on this evening I'll gather up the clothes on the line and hang up what is left in the dryer. IF it goes well I"ll fold and put away the bedding and the clothes before I go to bed this evening.

Since I'm going through dear hubbies things, I"m getting like 10 items and bringing it the house a day. If not doing that about 4 times a day. That way it is easy for him to go through and he can go about his business. I know that does not seem like much, but I KNOW it is helping. I am getting that tote that is in storage cleaned out slowly. and we are getting rid of a handful of items a day. Which the garbage will be going out with the garbage truck on Thursday. That is it for now. I am not feeling that good today, but I am getting my routines done. I have discovered that if I do my routines in the mornings I can relax and have some fun the rest of the day.

Rough new year.

I don’t know about you but my day was a drag. I went to a church on Saturday to get some free food and things. And my friends husband calls her and she says her son has a bump on his head. Then later she gets a call back saying he (her son) is not responding to his daddy. My dear husband takes her to the hospital to where her husband and son is going. My other friends and I get our stuff and my friends mom takes me home since my husband is with the daughter and her family. We get home like at two or three thirty I can’t remember which. Then my best friend calls me probably after six to tells me that the little baby had died. Joshua Dewayne. Only 3 months old. May he rest in peace.

Let me get back to my day today. Well I’ve been pretty much doing nothing. I done half of my dishes. They were pretty piled up since I had not done them since probably Wednesday. They were not as a bad as I thought they would be. Then I’ve been slowly putting clothes away. I’ve just been rather sad today. I am a mom and I can only imagine how this friend feels. I have a 7 year old son and I worry about him all the time. It is really sad that my friend had lost their 3 month old son. May God be with them and help them get through this hard times. I know it took me quite a while to get use to not having my parents. They passed away on December 8th 2000(my dad) and on January 11th 2001 my mom passed away. So you can imagine how this is affecting me. With this little baby passing away years later close to the day as my parents had passed away. I can understand to a point on how they feel. Only time will help heal them of their loss. And they will never forget their precious little baby. As I have not forgotten my parents. I miss them very much.

2 boxes done today.

I done some sorting. I got like 2 and 3/4 boxes done. I put stuff in the boxes that I want to get rid of. Hopefully We can have a yard sale soon. I'm hoping to do like the people on Clean house. I don't expect to get much money though. I would like to use the money to go towards some furniture for my house. I know my friend can get this kind of think for me for free but it is just nice having NEW things. I hope I can get some more boxes ready for the yard sale soon. I hope to get one a day or so. IF not. At-least what ever I do put in the box will help.

My Shiny Sink

Well I was going to post a picture of my shiny sink. I am proud of my self. I got it the dishes done and the right side of the counter cleaned off. Did not take long. I had mostly drinking glasses on it and a can opener and a coffee pot on it. I took a picture of it. I had to get on a stepping stool because I'm short and could not get a good picture of it. So I was getting ready to upload a picture to here for my progress. Only to realize I could not find my cable to connect my camera to my computer. I remember putting a cable up some where when I went to try out a computer I bought at a fundraiser yard sale for $30.00. Well it is a small computer and I figured i might give it to my 7 year old son. Well the thing is Now I do not remember what I done with the cable. I was thinking it went to something and wasn't sure what it went to. So I rolled it up and stuck it............

WHERE. lol. Well. WHen I find my cable i'll show you my shinny sink.

Well I was going to post a picture of my shiny sink. I am proud of my self. I got it the dishes done and the right side of the counter cleaned off.

To much work

I overdid it yesterday. My husband and I went through the stuff in my computer room. I put stuff on the bed as I was going through it. After I got half of the room cleaned out my husband had me go through the other half. (not trying to make him out to be mean. I asked him for help. :) ) I got my totes of yarn and boxes of crochet projects that needed to be done and gave it to him so he can put them up. SO I can get to the stuff on the bottom. Once I got that corner cleared out. He handed me back the box of crochet projects that needs to be done. Then he handed me to totes of yarn. Then We went through the boxes and stuff on the bed and He put those boxes in the other corner. We have more room in the middle now where Someone can sit comfortably. I still have to much stuff in my computer room. But it does help out. I want it cleared out where my husband can work on his craft projects on one side and me on the other. But I have to go through. But I think once I get it sorted a bit. Then I'll go through it again. I'll go through things time and again. What I wanted one time, I may decide later I do not want it. I'm taking my items I do not want to the consignment store. I am hoping to make some money. I know they won't take all of my stuff. But what they do keep to sell I will get something out of it. It does help. Well Have fun.

What you can find when you clean.

I've been going through our storage trailer over the last few months and it is amazing on what you can find. I found my old Batman book. I love the Batman show. I bought a book that tells about the movie and how it was made. I found an old scrape book my friend in high school made for me. (I just wish she did not treat me the way she did.) I do miss those old time when we were in High School. One saying I do believe in. "You know who your friends really are when it comes down to it." (not sure exactly if that is how it was said, but It was on the movie Blank check) Loved that movie by the way. Anyways back to my story. I also found my Batman Collectors cards. (just about have them all.) I wonder if someone has some I do not have online. hmm. I also found a teddy bear with balloon. You know the little paint set that you do and I think you put it in the oven to bake a little then it does what it needs to. It is so cute. I can't believe I found it. I wonder what else I can find. 1 Box at a time is all I am allowing myself to do. Well maybe 3 tops. In a day. I still have a lot of work to do. But I'm making progress. I'm sure I'll find some of my other things I had as a child.

I'm slowing find a place for things. I"m throwing away what needs to be thrown away. Putting away what needs to be put away. and Well trying to make some money off the things I no longer need. (wish me luck on that part. Well anyways. That is all for now. You never know when i'll post again in my blog. Sorry I have not posted in a while. I kind of forget about it. I was reading a blog about coupons and it was the same type blog as this is and that is what made me decide to post. Anyways, Have a Great day.

Hecktic week.

This has been a hecktic week for us. Saturday, I let my dogs out to go potty. And well The boys came back to the house. and I had this sinking feeling about my female dog. Usually It is Gizmo who comes in first, then Sometimes Fancy then Rusty. Sometimes Rusty then Fancy, But Rusty and Gizmo comes in together. I called for Fancy(my female dog,) She does not come. I wait about two hours and still no show. So for the next few days we look for her, Then we ask our neighbors to see if they had seen her. And No luck.

What stinks about this is about about 7 years ago. our long haired Chihuahua done the same thing. We found him though. He was about dead. He had been attacked by a big dog. and Had internal bleeding. After that we had put up a dog fence with a gate to keep them in the yard.
Sometimes they do not always get in their area. Well I would carry Fancy to put her in the gate because she will go under the house instead. Saturday night. The 19 of Sept 09, I let my dogs out. Well. I didn't think to pick up Fancy and carry her. I let them out to go potty and a little while later, When I realized it was time for them to come back in the house. Gizmo and Rusty were ready to come in. and Fancy was not. Well. I called for fancy and she had not come back I figured she may need some more time. After 2 hours of calling for her and not having any luck, I figured I would go to bed in hopes she would return the following morning. One time Rusty had ran off and had come back the next day. So I had hoped the same for my girl dog. But noooo.
Well consider the is 14 years old and has cateracks and getting hard of hearing.
This is what I think could have happened. I saw a cat in our yard earlier that day. I think They might have chased it. and Fancy followed it for a while. and then lost her way back home. I'm still hoping that she turn up. IF she does not, I'm hoping she has reunited with Little buddy. And in Doggie Heaven.
After all that, Monday I had to get a tooth pulled that has been bothering me for 2 months. so now I'm missing my dog and my jaw hurts a bit. I do hope that the next few days gets better for us. I know my jaw will start feeling better. But anyways. I just had to write in my blog today. It has been a while since I have. I do apologize for the sad story. But I had to get that off my chest. and..............
on a side note. I'm trying some html for a mamma source site. I"m assuming. This site came up and Since I do blogs, I wanted to try this and add something pretty cool for moms. If you need help with stuff this is a cool site.
Although, I'm not quite sure about mammapedia, but I believe it is a part of mammasource and I enjoy that site. So. let me know what you think.

I've been working on my site again. It has been a while. But I think I like this site better. I'm changing the colors on it. I've noticed some of the links did not show up. Like in my chat room. So I'm using brighter colors instead of the dark one. I don't know how I did it, but I used the same color background as the link.

Plastic Bag purse

Well I made one of those recyclable plastic bags purses. I need to find a picture of it. I did not find one on my computer. but I found it off of here.

She has some cool patterns. you can get an idea on what it looks like. Mine are white though. Cute too. mine might even be smaller. I usually mange to use a small hook and make my stuff and they usually turn out to be a lot smaller then they are suppose to be. I have to use a bigger size hook to get about the right size stitch. But I do have a question. Now that I made a few of these.

HOW do you clean them?

Crocheted thomas blanket I'm working on.

I'm almost done with this. I've been working on it for about 4 months now. I still have to crochet the top part with the words on it. This is turning out better then I thought it would. My son likes thomas the tank engine, but he is into transformers more now. I'm just hoping that when I get this finished he will still like it. I'll take another picture when I get finished with it. Might be another 4 months or so. Haha. Hopefully next time I can take a better picture though. this one turned out a bit dark. My digital camera batteries were ouot. So I had to charge them. I will take another picture when I finish this though. I wasn't sure if this was going to fit my sons bed. I made another blanket using a smaller crochet hook, or was it the same size. Not sure, but i'm using a H/8 - 5.00 MM hook. It looks to be short, but I have the letters I still have to add and if i have to I can add some more light blue on the bottom.

Now this one on the left. I made this for him a few years ago. I used a small hook for it. but it turned out to be more of a bably blanket. I'm making another one like this one, but bigger. Course I've got 3 or more other projects I'm making and I'm working on this one once in a while. It should be doubled this size though. I'm just hoping my boy can still use the blanket though. He likes it though.

I'm working on a Cardigan? To. I don't make clothes to often because the size are more tricky for me to do. This one looks like it might be small for me, but I'll see rather or not it stretches so I can wear it. I'm thinkg of trying more clothes items though. Maybe even do some knitting to. I can do a basic knit. Purl, Have trouble with it, but I'm sure if I keep trying I'll get the hang of it. That's it for now. I'll write more later.

On Location Yard Sales.

I seem to do some what better having my yard sales at a location then online. LOL. I know being on line you have a million competitors. And you have to find the right key words. Although this is a little embarassing to say, but When I do have my yard sales I get about $5.00 that day. But I know it is not much, but that keeps me wanting to do yard sales. Have just stuffed animals and clothes. aren't the best items, but hey. I enjoy doing this. I hope to sell enough small things if you will, then once I get enough money I will order some more stuffed animal kits. I think it might be the selection that I have. Nobody is looking for those at this time.
But I shall see. My yard sale groups are doing pretty good. My local groups are getting people. Not to active, but every once in a while I get a member or to. Which is not to bad. I get a few posts to once in a while. I am thinking of having more yard sales soon. I don't expect to get much. $5.00 if that. If I am lucky I might get more then that.
